Job Description

We are looking for a creative and motivated Educational Resource Developer to join the Mecatron team! In this role, you will design and develop engaging educational materials to promote marine science and technology. Your work will help inspire and educate the next generation of engineers and scientists by creating accessible, informative, and interactive resources. You will play a key role in our outreach initiatives, making complex topics in marine robotics understandable and exciting for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop educational resources, including digital content, interactive tools, lesson plans and workshop materials, to introduce marine science and robotics to younger audiences.
• Conduct educational workshops to nurture and inspire the next generation of marine scientists and engineers.
• Conduct presentations to raise awareness about the potential and advancements in marine science and technology to the general public at community outreach events.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational resources and make improvements based on feedback.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Engineering, or a related field at NTU / NIE.
• Experience in developing educational content or working with young audiences.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics for a younger demographic.
• Creative mindset with a passion for education and outreach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.
